After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Yeah that's always the way it goes. Everything at once or nothing at all, never any in between. That's not work-specific either, it holds true for life in general. "When it rains, it pours."
The only thing I can add to Analyst 1's comment is keep your chin up and power through, you got this!
I feel you. I try to understand as, if someone senior asks for something, all stakeholders get ready to do their own work and to double check with upstream and downstream.
Also when its busy period, you got multiple iterations needed
That’s exactly what I’m going through right now, and on top of that, all the personal stuff has to be hitting at the same time.
Sorry you're going through that rn. It's so true though. That's what all of 2025 felt like for me. Just constant crap hitting the fan. Hopefully 2026 has a few more smiles in store lol
Thank you for sharing! The first few months will likely be rough for me, but fingers crossed it gets much better after that.
It’s always the way it seems to go in the auto industry. I don’t know how many times I come in and say I’m closing my door and getting work done. To no avail that is the day every customer comes in and has questions or cancellations.
Thanks for sharing! Good to know this applies to industries beyond just finance as well.
I feel you on this. It always seems to happen like that, all in one go. The positive is at least it gets it all out the way in one go :)
Yup. Seems to be the nature of finance.
