It’s me getting on the zoom calls early to make sure the natural hair is natural-ing on camera😆

Just open a zoom meeting screen separately before you get on the actual zoom. That’s what I do. Just in case! (Gotta remember to close out the first screen before jumping on the actual meeting).

Yessss- And I have a mirror right behind my laptop on my desk. You also don't know how that work-from-home make up looks once the sun hits your face and you're on camera lol. 🤣 Or even your natural look - when you think you can get away with a natural face, and then realize you look like a zombie when the zoom video comes on 🤣 Or is that just me... 👀

OMG! 😆 LOL I hate those surprises! And the mirror trick never would have guessed that one! I love it. And I ended up turning on the soft focus on zoom and let me tell you! It gives the perfect amount of softness like I woke up wearing foundation.

I’m relocating to the US from an international rotation to work in Galveston. I have never been to Texas and I am trying to find the best spot for my family to live in. So far from reading online it sounds like Pearland is a good option but I have not been able to validate that/ figure out what other options are out there. I would appreciate all advice:
1. Would you recommend living in Pearland?
2. What are other good areas to live in? Safe and would like to be less than 1 hour from Galveston.

When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.
