It's Monday and as I sit here, I'm counting my blessings. I was able to get my foot in the door of a great company that took care of me and my family. I was able to learn so much about the insurance industry and develop skills I never knew were possible.

I now have an opportunity to move from the Home Office to a Network Branch. It's scary and exciting at the same time. Has this happened for you? How did you transition?

Insurance work has been good to me. Started on the phones and worked my way up from there. Had certifications paid for. I went from a smaller company to a large one, which was my big transition. Scary, but ultimately a great move. You’ll learn a lot, and any new experience is a learning one.

Congrats to you! That's awesome news. I haven't made that exact switch myself, but I can definitely relate to that kind of anxious excitement you're feeling. I get it every time I'm about to start a new job.

Does anyone run a business in addition to their firm? I’m a solo and I’m doing pretty well with about 60-70 billable hours a month. Though that leaves a lot of downtime. Curious if anyone has any second businesses that require about 20 hours a week. Not looking for passive income or franchise ideas though.

Hello,
I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.
