I’ve answered a few work calls after hours because I didn’t want to leave a teammate hanging. At the same time, I think it’s important to disconnect when the workday is over.
How do you balance being a team player with maintaining work-life boundaries?

Answer only when it's urgent

Ya I’d really rather people just text me too. A call is so much more invasive

Do yall share pay? If not, it’s not a team activity. Don’t buy the lie.

Definitely keep boundaries and make them clear. You should only respond when urgent or if you're the only person that can take on that task.

Feeling really overwhelmed and wondering if anyone else has struggled with something similar: I’ve been with the same company for about three years and I feel like it’s time for a change of pace. Poked around on LinkedIn and there wasn’t a single listing I was interested in that I felt genuinely qualified for. Did I somehow fall behind or does everyone just have unrealistic expectations?
