You’re pretty safe as a Staff 1 unless you start a fire or something else that’s drastic

If you are new hire, you have 4 to 6 months before you are fired or pushed out

Yes relax. Have to have a review and a PIP

By end of second year

To be honest don’t worry Year 1. But the you only have a few months after you hit your second year before it will matter.

We started coaching a first year campus hire out about 5-6 months after she started. She finally quit after being put on a PIP... now she's bartending?! Lol.

Pwc2 did she intern as well??

@OP No, she didn't intern... which I think might have been part of the problem 😕

How do you respond when straight white men and women attorneys make comments about how you do too much "non-billable" DEI work?

For Nov 2022 I am on track to bill 170 hours after today, with an additional 100 non-billable, which includes a bunch of various DEI commitments. I am busy but I don't feel like it's too much, esp when the DEI work makes the rest feel fulfilling. I always say yes when law students reach out, even if we have to schedule a month+ in advance. Can someone recommend the top consulting firms to look at for HCLS opportunities? Preferably firms with a dedicated BU in HCLS focused on advising as well as project based work. I am currently in discussions with Huron. I have looked at Oliver Wyman (appears to be heavy on payor and Rev Cycle), Deloitte McKinsey & Company and Capgemini I’ve reached out to McKinsey but didn’t receive a reply. Any direction/advice and referrals would be greatly appreciated!
