I think that this question is personal. I would say to look at yourself. At the beginning of your career, what do you wish that someone would have told you or done to support you in your career? Start there.
Be relatable! If you are exactly where you want to be in your career remember your struggles if any because I am almost positive your mentee has experienced that and that's why your mentee wants a mentor. In so many words don't come off as if your head is all the way in the clouds. As it is very competitive and not always fair when trying to advance your career in healthcare leadership.

I’m no licensed or certified trainer or mentor, but I have trained former and current colleagues due to short staffing. As the others may have already stated: relate to and understand the trainee.
Encouraging the trainee/mentee to feel comfortable as much as possible (this may not be one’s personal rulebook, but drop the formalities) and stop for question(s) as navigating thru information overload can be tiresome. No one can sit thru the whole training and learns every topic that was covered and demonstrated; trainee/mentee must engage as well.
Make sure being a mentor doesn’t burn you out. If it’s burdensome for you, it won’t be a good experience for them. Ask your mentee how they learn and what their priorities are.
