I've been with my company for five years and just got turned down for a senior-level position again. My skip-level manager says my work is great, but there are "budget constraints." The thing is, they keep hiring senior people from outside at higher pay than what I'm making. Should I stick it out and keep trying to prove myself?

Hi everyone! First time using this app. I always wondered, how are other IT help desk jobs? I’ll share how mine is.
I work at an MSP (Managed Service Provider) meaning we are the IT services for many other companies. It’s busy all the time and I get to experience all different types of apps, OSes, and almost every aspect of IT in this way. I make around 50k which is alright but its hectic as there’s too many tickets and not enough personnel. I heard this is common but I’m not sure.
