I’ve been working in sales for about 2 months with relative success, and I am wanting to scale out into the automotive industry. Obviously I know this isn’t something that is going to happen overnight but automotive is my long term goal for my sales career. What is the biggest thing employers look for when looking at my application/resume? Any advice on where to start?

I’ve been an Admin Assistant for 5 years with the last 2 in a government. I have worked hard to get here thinking this is what I wanted. Now that I’m here, making 40k CAD/yr.
