I’ve had interviews with 4 different companies over the past two weeks - combinations of recruiter calls, HR screens, second rounds, etc. I was ghosted by each of the 4 companies after interviewing. Some even ended with “reach out if you don’t hear from me by X date” but have received no responses to my emails. Is this a new thing? I’ve interviewed with dozens of companies over the years but have never been ghosted after interviewing, and now it happened with 4 different companies.

Hi Fishes need your suggestions please. I have an interview with PWC for GCP DE Manager, currently working in pure technical role as data engineer. YoE 12.5, cctc 10.5 and holding offers till 23.5 fixed and few more in pipeline, expecting till 27 with 40 days left in np. How much can I ask for a senior manager level in PWC AC Bangalore and how difficult is the work and transition from pure technical to managerial role? I am still bit reluctant to leave tech side, is it good in long run?

Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I immediately felt demotivated as to ‘why now’ after all rounds have been cleared (continued in the comment below)
