Dear Amazing and incredible folk of fishbowl app, I received a HireVue interview for the 2022 New analyst position within Internal Audit at Goldman Sachs.

I will be greatly obliged if you could please share your experiences and what kind of questions I should expect. Further, do you get do overs if you start to mess up an answer? I had applied to technology audit so how much should I be prepared to talk about auditing as a service?

I am currently 100% remote and went through training and onboarding 100% remote. I am now looking for a new job and I have found remote work is really competitive. Any tips for how/where to apply? I am applying for content and copy writing roles all around the US as long as the are remote.

Why has it been so dang hard to move from banking to a strategy role in my industry or expertise? Or a start up? 90% of my applications have passed on me before even giving me a first round interview! I’ve been on over 6 deals, and wanting out and it’s been extremely frustrating! Hi everyone. I’m a front end software engineer. I’m interviewing next week for a solutions engineer at a company I really like, which I mistakenly applied for as I saw they needed ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Upon reading the job description, it’s clear I will be doing a lot of sales and client consulting over actually coding. I know they have a FE SWE role open. How would you approach asking the recruiter if there are any SWE openings I could be considered for instead ?

There is this big bank where I'd love to work at, and after several interviews for various positions they end up promoting someone from within, even thou I understand it and think it’s good they promote their people, it left me feeling like I'm just being used to comply with the process.
