I think qualities like resilience, teamwork are the hardest to spot during hiring. It’s true that some candidates have learned how to present themselves really well, so it makes the challenge even bigger for recruiters and managers.

Yeah, I’m not going to lie to you. Fake it until I make it is how I got this far in this industry. I think it’s normal people to enter a new role and not be completely ready. Struggling a little bit in the beginning is fine as long as they’re learn quickly on the job.

35M. Friend zoned after one date. What am I doing wrong? I met her at a baby shower. We talked/text regular for about a month or so because I was traveling for work. I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto.
