I've noticed that at a lot of job fairs, conferences, and networking events, people spend most of their time talking to coworkers or people they already know. It makes sense as that's comfortable, but it also seems to defeat part of the purpose of being there. Do you intentionally meet new people, or do you mostly stick with familiar people while at a job fair/networking event?

I received an offer for 80k to work as a desktop engineer for TCS at one of their client’s locations. However, I have seen poor reviews for working at TCS and I’d like to get some feedback from anyone currently or had previously worked for that company.
