I don’t see wages going up
Definitely not seeing wages going up for myself. Our new hires with little to no experience (more on the no experience) are coming in at less than a dollar than those of us who have been at their job for years and are very seasoned.
i honestly think the reason companies are having hard time filling positions is because they stopped personally viewing candidates. ATS Ai is doing the selecting. it is too black and white takes more to build and maintain a good team
I don’t understand why when the unemployment is at 4.3% … and the media continually LIE about the job numbers … Perhaps the companies who are STRUGGLING to hire are posting GHOST JOBS (it’s a thing look it up) …. Now that we are in the 4th quarter of things … the CEOs, CFOs and the all the big executives.. now can pay themselves a a RECORD PROFIT BONUS…by not hiring and laying off people (which helps payroll and save companies a TON of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$).. and perhaps now they have a few dollars and they see their current staff is BURNT OUT since they had to pick up the slack for being understaffed for SO LONG .. now see its great time to start hire
I don’t understand it I have to work I don’t understand it except maybe those who didn’t work during Covid are still getting benefits and no motive to work.
It’s a mix of a bunch of different things in my opinion. Healthcare burnout is a lot right now, and many places are not dealing with it. And it’s not even so much that they have to deal with it, but just provide a place that isn’t totally crazy to work for. I haven’t seen much of a wage increase either, but location has a lot to do with that.
Not seeing any staff shortages. I see a lot of lying. Tens of thousands of FAKE jobs with often overly qualified people applying to hundreds of jobs with no responses or offers. I see the SAME opening reposted, over and over again, after o received the response that “we’ve moved on to more qualified candidates”, when I have 20 years experience (over qualified).
It’s NOTHING but employment market manipulation for political reasons. Periods.
Maybe less people are drawn to healthcare because of the drawbacks that were more publicized by the pandemic? And some of the existing healthcare workers have left to pursue less stressful work as well.
Soon .. all the people that entered USA & were processed, will take most jobs at minimum wage. Then there will be No shortage.

I'm finding it very hard to find jobs.
The type of recruiting they are doing
Covid has caused a lot of changes, especially within the healthcare field. In my opinion, I think many people are just afraid of working in facilities, because of fear of getting sick. But, many positions in the healthcare industry can't be filled by working from home. So, I don't know.
I willing to do but I have a criminal background and that hinders me when it comes to finding a job
Well, I'm trying to figure that one out myself. Myself and others I know, have submitted countless applications/resumes, with no response. I was hired by an nursing home, sent to get a drug test, never heard from them, even after several phone calls and emails. Professionals in the medical field want to know why this is happening. I still see the ad posted that I responded to back in July 24.
Not offering higher wages ...thst is not correct info you are geting.
There are a lot of things you have to follow and a lot of companies won’t hire people with a background
Companies are making it difficult for people that are applying , there are more applicants than jobs .
Low wages and zero effort to try to retain staff at the healthcare organization I work at in the US.
I think issues are the wages and if you know someone that works for a specific company and ask for opinions depending on what is said
