Wow this is so cool! I have a girlfriend who's in a radiation therapy program right now and she loves it.

It’s a rewarding career. We are able to do a lot of good in the world. We get to know our patients and build relationships with them and the pay isn’t too shabby! It’s a career to definitely be proud of. Best of luck to your girlfriend during her program!

I've been encouraging my friend to join Fishbowl– this might be it. Thanks for posting this!

You should open the radiation therapy bowl to everyone. Especially people who are not in the industry but may be interested. I am trying to join the bowl as my wife does not use this app but is a radiation therapist

I went to a psychologist and answered an ADHD questionnaire, basically scoring the highest possible score for ADHD. Long story short: the psych told me that since I made it through law school with a decent/good GPA l don’t have ADHD.

Has anyone been told this? I.e., that since you’re a “professional” and have had good grades you don’t have ADHD? I just feel it’s a bit unfair since I had to work myself to the bone just to stay focused and understand the material.

I have been drug free now a little over two weeks. Last night I went out with some friends to party. While I was there someone offered me coke. Walking away was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Hopefully I’ll be strong enough to do it again next time it happens.

Trying not to be reactive here until my doctor calls, but… obviously can’t help it. My blood test today (28w) came back with results that are worrying me. My RBC and HCT are low (below the standard range) which would indicate slight anemia, but ferritin came back totally normal. This alone wouldn’t cause me too much concern, except that I have counts for NRBC, which seems like a bigger problem. Has anyone else gone through this?

Was just on a happy hour with my new team which is mostly comprised of “preppy” ex-sorority/frat types. They brought up an ex coworker who i didn’t know that is now an IG influencer/model/yada yada and the guys were making jokes about how hot he was. They all know I’m gay, and then when i said something like “ya he’s ok” (influencer/pretty isn’t really my type) everyone started coming at me with “come on he’s hot you’re gay how can you not see this?!?”... /contd
