Job hunting really is its own kind of chaos. Today I got a rejection from a company I applied to months ago, and I’m pretty sure they already rejected me once before, so now I’m wondering if they’re circling back for fun or just rejecting me in advance in case I ever apply again. Applying for jobs feels like being stuck in some bizarre game where no one tells you the rules. The delays, the silence, the recycled rejection emails… it’s almost impressive. Would love to know I’m not the only one.

I've been offered for Engineering expert position at Novartis India. I've received offer letter 2 weeks back and my DOJ is updated to Mid December. I told the HR that my current company's last working day is on mid January and resend the offer letter with mid Jan as my DOJ. But they told that they can send the revised offer letter 3 weeks before the joining date.
Is this normal process? Has anyone gone through similar experience?

Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC.
