You would have to fully restart the process. ME offices are much much easier to get into than NAMR. The alternative would be to work in ME for 1-2 years and attempt to transfer.
Dubai has been very competitive lately. Their growth is slower than NA and can tap into so many strong application pools across the UK, France, Lebanon and US. They tend to pick the kids with really high resume screening scores / tiers, and maintain a higher bar on offers. It’s drastically different for other ME offices. Some of our NA locations struggle finding strong applicants and never reach their aspirations.
Curious - why do you want to move to BCG from McKinsey?
To answer your question - BCG is pretty much a regional-based - even the process between region can slightly varied - thus moving from one region to another region requires separate process. Even when you’re in for a few years you still need to do interviews to transfer office, but, not as thorough as when you first applied.
Hi- anyone at Jefferies willing to provide a referral for me for its Career Switch Program? Looking to switch industries and saw this program on my school’s job site and am really interested! Happy to just chat as well and if anyone has any experience with this program :).
Someone told me in BCG inter entity transfers are very difficult and sometimes frowned upon? I am a Canadian PR holder looking to switch to BCG US on L1
