joined a company in mid-Jan, but by end-Feb they announced the tech division shutdown due to restructuring. We were given two options: take 2 months severance lump sum or stay on payroll till April (salary monthly, April as FNF).

I’m job searching now.

Option 1 > One suggestion was to not mention this short stint and show my previous company, as 2–3 month switches may be a red flag.

Option 2 > Another is to keep it and explain restructuring.

Which approach is better, pls suggest/advice?
