I got offer from tcs but infy has agreed to match the offer. I have took back my resignation, but I don't fully trust them and can be sure only when hike letter comes in July.

TCS offer letter has no joining date specified, just that I can select a start date on acceptance of the offer. Also says that if I don't join within 120 days offer is void.

Now, can I accept the offer but select joining date in October and if my hike letter is not as promised, resign again and join tcs after 90 days NP?

If I join CTS in mid of July this year, would I be eligible for increment in next year's appraisal cycle? Considering hypothetically that I get a good rating

I’m going to say no to an offer I’ve been sitting on. Really connected with a partner I interviewed with and they really fought to get a good offer for me but they just couldn’t reach me on comp. I am an hourly employee. Currently if there is a hospital call that needs to be done, someone will volunteer to do it for overtime. Now, my company wants to create a set call schedule. If we get a call at 5pm, when my shift ends, can I still be required to complete the call? I will be paid overtime but don’t like the fact they will force it upon us.

Can we show unequal rent split up between husband & wife for HRA?
Let's say we pay 20k in rent. I want to show that I pay 15k and wife can show 5k. Is this sort of break up possible without explicitly mentioning it in the rent agreement?
