I love AI, but had two students turn in Discussion Questions that were obviously AI. I ran both response through two AI checkers. Yep, with 100% probability, so I screenshot the results, attached the screenshot to their assignment, and gave them a 0%.

I think AI is great if used. You have to really check images, I generated a hand the other day that had five fingers and a thumb🤣. Then, a few weeks ago, I asked for a cat with a tail like a lion and ears like a bat. The AI generated a picture of a creepy-looking cat with two long curvy tails
