Just realized a fairly new friend of mine (~14 months or so) has been lying about being an emergency medicine physician

She seemed legit: her husband is an ICU doctor, she sounds very knowledgeable but she could not be found anywhere (no NPI number under her name).

She has generally been very nice, helpful and pleasure to be around

Any advice? What would you do in this situation? Should i ask her to explain? Could you continue being friends with someone like this

However, for my first staffed assignment I was placed as a developer in the middle of an ongoing project in the development phase.
I have never used the technology they’re leveraging, nor embellished my resumé in any way to mislead them into believing I had.
Anyways, they just assigned me a task and I’m lost af.
