It's the worst! Not sure if this is a factor for you, but being hungover always makes this way worse for me, especially when I started getting closer to my 30s. Didn't stop me from drinking on the weekend necessarily but helpful to understand it made an impact.
Otherwise, try to identify if you're stressed about anything in particular, and whether there's anything you can do to prep to reduce the anxiety. Even if it's like making a mental or notes app checklist of what you need to do to for a call you're worried about for example, so you know that you have actionable steps when you're back to work on Monday and can try to free up brain space to enjoy the rest of your Sunday. What if the part of you that feels anxious on Sundays isn’t trying to ruin your peace… what if she’s just scared of being forgotten when Monday comes, and all she really needs is your love before the week begins? Don’t be afraid to feel what comes up, the anger, the resentment, the worry, the fear. Feel it all. Let it move through you instead of pushing it away. Get curious about it, connect with it, listen to what it’s trying to show you. Because underneath it all, that feeling is guiding you toward something deeper and the next step that will help you soften, understand, and finally resolve the anxiety.
