I’ve definitely been thinking about it! While my main job is still my focus, I’m exploring a few side gigs, especially in real estate and online ventures. It’s hard to ignore how much people are diversifying these days. I think having multiple streams just gives more security, even if it’s slow going!

Curious what online ventures are you referring to??
I don’t think everyone needs multiple jobs, but everyone should be investing to the extent possible, and if you can afford to own your home - owning real estate is one of the most proven ways to build wealth.

Agreed - real estate has proven its value over time and even after the credit crunch in '08, prices still climbed in the long run!
I work with real estate investors every day in this space. I have definitely seen an uptick due To the want for passive income and generational wealth

Thats great insights, and thanks for sharing!
I think diversification makes sense, however, I think sometimes this side hustle stuff is taken too far. Working a full time job and trying to run a business outside of that too is often not sustainable, i would only recommend this if you are looking to build the business up so that you can eventually leave your job. This is from my own experience too, I spent most of my hours working away and to be honest, the ‘side hustle’ didn’t actually make me any real money.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I agree that investing too much time and energy into a side job can be unsustainable and might even impact your main job if you’re not careful. I’m curious what was your side hustle? Did you actually enjoy it, even though it didn’t bring in much money?
I've always had more than one job, or was going to school and had a job at the same time.
I have two jobs and have always had a little side hustle. YOu just can't make enough at one job it seems so I have always held onto doing social media stuff on the side to make extra spending money.
