Long time reader first time writing, I'm a dental assistant. I don't other have experience except for this one office I currently work at. And everything is broken all the time. It makes it hard to actually seat patients and get them the treatment they're there for. Nothing gets repaired in a timely manner, and the patients see something all the time, like a handpiece going out mid-appointment and the Dr. has to try to fix it or ask for a new one right in front of the pt. Is this common?

I started a job less than a year ago, and I am certain that this is not the work I want to be doing in the medium or long run. How soon is too soon to leave?
