Career is exactly what I’d hoped for. Life is better than I could have imagined.
Career is going fabulous, and life is even better than I could ever havr imagined, although the post-Covid remote work options had a lot to do with it.
Career yes, life no.
Career and life and love, so much better than I hoped for in 2016.
Fortunate to say all better than I could have dreamed of, but with a lot of unexpected twists, turns and dark times along the way. Would do it all again to be where I am right now, though 😊
I'm still working on my goals. I'm a little behind but I think I can get there.
No, I feel blessed in some ways but also like I’ve been in a chronic state of grief over the last few years for various reasons. To those doing better than expected, to what do you attribute your career or life success (besides luck/a higher power/hard work)?
Divorced a bad partner, now have an incredible and supportive partner, and a lot of therapy. Coupled with the hard work and luck 😂

A1 balance. I worked my butt off for many years but also took a 3 week vacation with my family every year (it’s possible, trust me), skied with my kids almost every weekend during the winter, played on the same rec league soccer team foro 30 years, went out to dinner every month with the same group of guys for 30 years, and made sure I was present when I was home with my family. I also did a lot of meaningful pro bono and consistently donated money to causes I care about. If you’re consumed completely by your job you will be miserable. But if you maintain human connections and a structured and happy life outside of work it’s a lot easier to also appreciate the good things in your work life.
