Before, but not at 4:30 am. If that's when you have to work out, you need to revisit your life choices.
D1, do you have kids? I have to be home by 5:30 PM if I want to have any time with them in the evening. So I get up at 4:45 to workout at 5 AM. I get my kids up at 6:30 to make it to work by 7:30 so I can leave at 5 PM. I do go to sleep by 9-9:30 so this can happen.

Before. There is no such thing as a definite stop time in law. If you leave it until after you risk not getting to it.
Why is 6 am not an option…before 4:30 am is a bit much
Who the hell works out at 4:30?
What time is bed to be able to make these early workouts?
If you go to bed at 9pm, I think you’ve pretty much answered your question.
These timing options worry me - maybe let’s just do therapy at 6:30 PM
Pro
I do it after. Helps me get my stress out from the day. I could do it in the morning but I was an athlete in college and swore I would never go back to 5:30 AM workouts after I graduated lol
This is exactly why I still rock with the 5:30am lol I’m so used to it
I struggle with this....trying to figure out when to workout, meet my hours, and study for another bar lol...
I do midday. Nothing is so important that it can’t wait.
I usually workout at about 7pm. Just not a morning person.
I hate mornings. I do the 6:45 pm class
I absolutely hate mornings. I workout at night. I totally get what people are saying about working out after work — that there is no set time to clock out and you risk losing out on the workout — but you just have to make it a priority. I work from home and make it a point to workout at about 6pm every night for an hour, then log back on after. No one will notice you didn’t respond for an hour.
I should have said *when I work from home.
I’m at the office half the time. And even then, I make it a point to work out first thing when k get home.
Before
Gotta do it before. I go at 5:30am. Like C1 said, there’s no stop time, but I think safely the start time is 8-9am. So I fully use those few hours before for things I don’t want to miss out on.
Before and if for whatever reason it doesn’t happen try again in the evening
Before
I normally do it during my lunch hour, not sure if that's a viable option or if you've considered it.
The question is how confident are you you can make that 6:30 p.m. appointment every scheduled day?
I go to the gym from 6-7am. I usually check emails before I go and I find that most people don’t expect a reply while I am at the gym. Plus I still make it to the office by 9am which is typically when everyone is rolling in. If I need to be to the office earlier than 9am (which is pretty rare) then I skip that gym day. On the other hand I tend to get a lot of emails/phone calls/requests at 6pm that need and/or want responses- so I don’t know if going to the gym after work would be a viable option for me. Ultimately I would look at your day and determine a block of time where you are least needed as well as a time that you think you can consistently (and realistically) hit the gym- if you’re not a morning person then 4:30am is never going to work for you and if you don’t like staying up late then the 6:30 time probably isn’t ideal either!!
After
It really depends on your situation. I used to workout afterwards because i had a several hour commute home, so to avoid the heavy traffic i would workout after work. Now that i work 100% remote, i workout in the morning to ensure i get my workouts in and so i can have the evenings with my fiancé and to mentally relax. Really just depends on your situation and what you prefer!
