I feel like people think I’m in my 30s because I look young (thank you genetics) but when they find out I’m in my mid-40s as a woman, they’re ready to talk early retirement so…

I’m 49 and people in recruiting firms say that’s a sweet spot. I hope they’re not blowing smoke.

I just turned 59 and I hide my age every chance I get. I’d rather leave on my own terms sometime between now and 65. I’d prefer not to be shown the door a couple of years before I am ready.

62 and RIF just shy of 23 years... I feel ya.

Age is just a number. Be great at any age and any role. Would you rather peak at 33 as a Partner in over your head or peak at 65 professionally and personally? I am up for the latter.

Depends, am I smart enough financially at 33 to retire by 48-50?

It seems like everyone focuses on public sector and tmt. Currently interviewing at a few and would be great to get some feedback. Thanks!

So...I started my own company in 2018. Things went off like a ROCKET. Its a small Remodeling company and we specialize in higher end bathrooms and kitchens etc. I love working with my hands. I also have my education though and...I am going to return to tech work. I just wonder..when is enough enough? When do you pull the plug?

For those who have opened their own practice, what type of law do you do? What market are you in and how much do you profit? Have you hired other attorneys (if so, how many)? How much experience did you have when you decided to go out on your own? And is your schedule more or less flexible than when you worked elsewhere?

Is it worth making the time/money investment to make the switch from big 4 FDD to MBB. This would require getting into and paying for a top MBA program and my net worth would be way negative after that. Are the MBB financial returns worth it? Im 26 years old for reference
