I've officially made it - got a parking spot
JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.
Was scheduled for an interview today for a Director pos. early morning I get a Reschedule request to next Wednesday but I cannot make it due to personal commitment .
Called recuit mgr.to let him know and he tells me the director is very busy as she’s the IT. Dir for the whole org.politely asked him to send her availability other than next Haven’t received anything since then . Wondering if such co. Is worth pursuing that doesn’t value others time and that too a replacement pos for the same busy role 🥹

If you work in Coral Gables and are seeking a more downtown younger vibe Brickell is also a good choice. The Gables is dull.
Look for a place in coral gables nearby miracle mile… dm if you need tips
Pro
Gables and Coconut Grove have really nice buildings with nice communities (key for a nice place bc who gives a f about the amenities if the ppl is trash lol). I strongly recommend trying to find ppl that live in the places and ask about neighbors, the association
Where are you looking?
20-30 in at peak times too or without traffic?
Welcome to Miami! It’s all depends on what you are looking for. Where are you relocating from? Some buildings do charge for parking. I have a great realtor just bought a condo. She also does leases. I recommend going to different neighborhoods at different times of the day to get a real feel for it .
You can’t go wrong with any of those neighborhoods. What about coconut grove? That’s closer to coral gables and still has a more youthful vibe. There’s a lot of coffee shops and walkable restaurants! I mean old school as in (from my personal observation) coral gables is less transplants and more people that have been here their entire lives AND has more of the latam vibe (which is nice too)! maybe spend some time in the neighborhoods and see how you feel. And welcome to miami! hope you find the right neighborhood for you!
