I make ~150K & get 8K per month net.

Assuming I have 3K rent + 1K for (car + insurance) + 1K for (grocery + utilities + misc expenses), I’m left with 3K/month saving which is 36K/yr.

I'm considering pivoting to copywriting because that's the part of my role I'm best at -- a lot of the account management stuff is draining, but I can whip out social and marketing copy quickly & I enjoy it. Wondering if anyone has insight / leads on making the jump from accounts to the copy side when applying for jobs? 5 YOE, 3 in-agency with a mix of automotive and pharma + a side gig as a published author with muliple books (hoping that'll help on the creative / copy end?) I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm. I am 85% sure I’ll take the offer, but wanted to see if anyone could think of acting I may be missing out on by leaving? FYI my inflation increase was larger than my promotion increase and my student loan payments also were stopped since I’m no longer an SA. I think what is holding me back is my guilt for my immediate team but just want to check.

Went through an interview with a company. The hiring manager seemed he looked my profile and overall the interview was good. At the end they asked me to prepare a presentation slides with some hypothetical scenario and share it in couple days. Has anyone seen this before? Not sure what it really means?

I am leaving Deloitte to work for a Dubai based company.

At Deloitte i was getting 2 lakhs a month in hand and at Dubai they are paying me 20k per month and some yearly bonus component.

Is this a good decision or am I taking a cut in terms of pay and growth by going to Dubai?
