Looking for advice, I was basically terminated because a lot of office gossip about me and my personality circulated (first people though I was mean because my previous supervisor assigned my desk away from the rest pf the department so I could be close to her, then I was told I was laughing too much and it apparently made staff think I was gossiping about them). The quality or content of my work was never questioned. How can I best explain this to prospective employers without sounding petty?

Hi i lost majority of my money in the stock market. I married and promised my family that I will not make the mistake I made 7 years ago. Gambling. Is this an addiction I have. I keep selling stocks and taking loses buying other stock hoping it will recover but never did and sell again taking loses and buy again. It now sink in to me.
