How many hours a week are you working? I’m generally clocking about 50-60 and I’m exhausted. I’m busy, but it’s mostly because no one I work with has any boundaries.

I’m working 55-60 and have pretty strong boundaries. It’s exhausting because we are so tied to business hours.

About the same but don’t bother putting more than 40 hours a week on my time sheet. You have to get approval for ever hour you work overtime and then this needs to be approved by our global head of HR! It’s so time consuming to go through all that red tape.

You should not be eating time and it’s illegal for them to not pay you the hours you worked.

likesmart

36 hours Monday through Friday. Usually about 2 hours on the weekend.

40 hours Mon- Fri. Wouldn’t mind occasional OT for the extra cash but too many hoops just to get it approved.

44-49 and I don’t get paid OT. And of course always checking my phone outside of those hours.

That’s pretty typical for most execs who are on salary only.

40.

Learn to put boundaries. when I was working in the office I put in a lot of hours of OT, but now that I’m working remotely I’m able to focus easier and get things done a lot faster without interruptions via people or phone. I will not eat time nor will I fudge on my time sheet. What are they going to do? fire you? believe me global HR will pay your overtime because they don’t want fed nor state to find out they are not paying salaried people their ot. so it’s up to your performance manager to get things moving along and get your overtime approved.

And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.

I'm worried that if I speak up, she'll make my life even harder. I don't want to lose my job because of this—do you guys have any advice?
