Hello fellow fishes! I'm looking for an opportunity as a sr. product manager/ owner with a startup in Delhi or Bangalore. Would prefer remote working opportunities. My total work experience is of 6 years in the product management/ startup field.

For those of you who made the switch to in house/corporate law, what was your experience like? Did you have to take a lower position to gain the experience or were you able to argue that your soft skills were transferable to in house? I’ve been in litigation for 15 years and I’m looking to make the switch. Ultimately, I’d like to get into Legal Ops, but feel getting some in house experience first would be beneficial.

Questions about job hopping-
My average tenure at a company is ~1.5 years (with ~11 YOE), but each jump I've made has yielded progressive/tangible career growth.

I'm concerned after my most recent jump (went from a product director to a head of product position at a different, smaller company after only a year) that I've kind of poisoned future career prospects at larger companies.

Any insights on whether this type of job hopping is a complete deal breaker for potential HMs?

My title is technically Marketing Lead but I want to put Head of Marketing on my LinkedIn etc. I think of these titles as totally interchangeable—I just like the way the second one reads better. So, recently got put on a PIP after six months at my new job., two days after I told my boss and HR I recently learned I have a cognitive disability caused by an illness. The PIP was mostly because I forgot some deadlines, but also they said I need to be more professional in emails (even though others use zero punctuation and a lot of emojis. Will an MBA set me apart? I have a BS in Marketing from top 15 undergraduate business program with a 3.8 gpa, 2 years work experience (3 by the time I’d enroll), and scored in the 63rd percentile on the gmat. At your companies, do most upper-level marketing employees have an MBA? Is it from a top school?
