Does anyone have any recommendations for a multitouch attribution setup in HubSpot?

My firm does custom software and we’ve done some custom work in this area, but unless attribution is a big part of your business it usually isn’t worth the 75k-125k to go in and customize all the entry points.

If you’re looking for COTS, there are a ton of playbooks that can get you most of the way there. Just google your exact phrase and you’ll find it.

Just curious, Do you already have first touch and last touch attribution pat down within HubSpot?

like

First touch attribution on Contacts, last touch attribution on Deals

I have a close friend whose company does multi touch attribution and they offer month to month contracts as well. Also setup is pretty simple want straight forward.

Check to see if Bizible or a competitor of theirs integrates with Hubspot well.

I wish Bizible integrated with HubSpot 😕

Ah the million dollar question. I haven’t seen anything really worth it. Every business is a bit different and the decision making process and purchase path ranges so much customer to customer. We’ve found it’s good to make educated guesses (based on data) on number of touch points. Then assign some value / cost to each last click action. That said, I know there are more and more solutions but so many are not worth the investment.

Sanity check needed. We own a home we paid $280k for, 6 years ago. We've begun to outgrow it and are debating building on vs buying.

Building would probably be $350k, would take about 4 months, and would require us to move out temporarily (likely 50-75% of that time), but then we'd have *exactly* what we want. Buying would cost ~$650k (plus $59k in closing costs to sell and buy).

House is worth $400k if we do nothing; addition would likely double value.

What would you do? Build or buy?

So- we run Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) for our clients display ads in a feed and corresponding google sheet via Google DoubleClick. My q is- does anyone know what systems out there allow for creating a template that will automatically pull a product image from say Target.com and automatically building the ad & copy without manually making 1000 ads via row for row in the google sheet? I know this is possible but curious if Sizmek or Flashtalking are more common in this type of creative development.

So, recently got put on a PIP after six months at my new job., two days after I told my boss and HR I recently learned I have a cognitive disability caused by an illness. The PIP was mostly because I forgot some deadlines, but also they said I need to be more professional in emails (even though others use zero punctuation and a lot of emojis. To clients.) and simultaneously ask more questions and ask fewer questions. Should I just assume this is unattainable and look for a new job again?

CTR, contracts and department overhaul

our marketing dept is undergoing a complete overhaul. under old leadership, a $75k 12-mo contract was signed to a marketing group that handles our SEO, blog and everything Google Ads. All things I can and am in training to do. Current CTRs on G ads seem pitiful at no more than 0.75%. My meta ads coast around 4-6%. During this overhaul, would it be wise to not renew our contract, and negotiate for me to take over these roles and leverage a raise?

I have worked in marketing for about 6-7 years. First few years were in social media management. My goal is to work at a big tech company.

I’ve heard mixed results about the ROI of earning an MBA. My near future goal is to move into a Marketing Director (or senior manager) role.

1) How much does Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. value MBAs in the hiring process?

2) Anyone currently working at the companies above with only a BBA?

Current situation: Marketing Manager, 90k, NYC.

I recently accepted a job that I quite overqualified for because I’m in need of a job. I got hired as a Marketing Manager and work directly with the Marketing Director. Come to find out my director is still in school and has absolutely no marketing experience. She’s been with the company for 4 months. They seem to want to utilize my complete skills set and make up for her lack of marketing knowledge but maintain her position as director and pay me a entry level marketing manager salary. Advice?

I’m job searching right now and applied for a job I was a little overqualified for just to shoot my shot and get my foot in the door with a great brand. The hiring mgr took the time to email me to tell me I was overqualified and offered to help me get connected to his network. He’s been so kind and helpful and I’m kind of in shock at his generosity. Even if an offer doesn’t come from it, is it weird if I send him a Starbucks gift card or something as a thank you? What’s appropriate?

Considering acquiring a blog/website that has good SEO value (DA, etc.). My site is complimentary (more product focused), but same niche. Is there a way to best integrate with my own site to retain/maximize SEO value between the two?

I am thinking perhaps I could simply redirect users to the new website when they click the "blog" section on my own website, but not sure if that's the best way. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Is it totally weird to request another meeting after getting a job offer to make sure it's a right fit? 🤔

I've noticed that sometimes I still have lingering questions. ❔

I've been burnt out by toxic work environments, so I don't want to make another mistake. 🙄

How would you handle this logistics of this meeting? (Timing - after the offer but with time before you start? How to phrase the reason why?)

Thanks! 🔅☺️

I’v been in digital marketing for almost 5 years. I want to switch to marketing operations or research, because I find I’m better at and more interested in market research, audience research than keyword research or writing ad copies. I applied for some marketing research and operations roles, but no luck.

I understand I don’t have enough direct experience and platform experience, like Nielsen.

Any advice?
