It did, but I couldn’t edit the post anymore to update the list with more brands.
Do you have a specific type of item or items in mind? There’s some companies I’d recommend for say accessories but not much value in that same company’s other lines
More broadly. I will transform my wardrobe gradually and want to invest in pieces from right brands.
For suits? Other apparel? Lately, Canali is really impressing.
Both
Ring jacket, sealup. For shoes it honestly depends on budget: I’d personally ignore the bigger English and Italian brands given how overpriced they are (think John Lobb, Edward green, Santoni)
On the “casual” end of things, I’m a big fan of Epaulet, Rogue Territory, Freenote Cloth, Oni Denim, Pure Blue Japan, Rancourt, and Grant Stone (Rancourt and GS being the less ‘lux’ alternative to Alden but also less annoying to buy than Alden). Epaulet, in partnership with Rochester Tailored Clothing (formerly Hickey Freeman), will also make custom jackets, trousers, and suits.
As your revamp your wardrobe, keep in mind that you don’t need a lot of clothing articles. You just need the right pieces. And don’t fuss if you see the same brand(s) mentioned often or see pictures of ppl wearing their items, the internet is an echo chamber when it comes to this niche. 95% of people in everyday have never heard these names. So if you like the RT Supply jacket then buy the RT Supply jacket regardless if someone else posts whatever dorky fit pic on the internet.
Can't go wrong with Brioni.
Check out Spier and Mackay, proper cloth, and enzo customs.
