Can I get 🫴
Bain & Company Hey! Got dinged at BCG and Mck and then hadn't heard back from Bain, but just found out I made it to final rounds. I haven't been prepping for over a week as it'd be two since my first round at Bain.
Help! Whats different or similar about Bain final rounds? I'm applying to Texas offices for an experienced AC role. I also may have to have an accelerated final round as I'm leaving the country for most of April. Bain & Company

Why do you guys want to move to pharma?
What type of pharma? HCP or DTC? It’ll be tough for you to come in at a CD level with no pharma in your books. It’s a whole different industry from general. It’s the world of the FDA and MedReg.
Yeah we can put some, but we’ve been working 10+ yrs so it felt a bit out of place with the rest of our work. I might have freelance colored glasses on, but HCP seemed to be better creatively. At least with sneaking in some clever interesting ideas inbetween the harder working stuff.
It is. DTC TV, is easily the hardest format to do good work in. Lots of interesting opportunities in creating products for patients that help diagnose their condition or address an aspect of it that the treatment doesn’t.
Good luck. Just be aware that if you’re looking to get into a pharma shop that does DTC, they’re not just going to hand over the juiciest assignments in the agency to new people. Senior staff creatives cling tightly to those accounts. You may have to come in and win new biz to be put on a consumer account.
Can you put any of your freelance pharma work in your books? Even if it’s not produced.
OP, contact Bernardo at Grey. He’s filling the shop with people like you
I’m just really curious. What’s the appeal to work in pharma?
It is more stable! But nothing is entirely stable right now. It’s less political, less egos, but still somewhat political.
