Manager speaks entirely in metaphors. 'We need to boil the ocean while moving the needle on the low-hanging fruit.' I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. I'm just vibing based on his energy and hoping I'm right. Does anyone actually understand metaphor-only leadership?

I mean if you dont understand you can simiply tell them "Im sorry, I dont really know what you mean. Can you tell me more clearly?"

I don’t know that they know what they mean either. Usually just a vague way of saying go do some work. If you do have a question, I would ask in specifics so they have to give a real answer.

NO. I could not handle that!
