Consider using whole foods florist for centerpieces to cut costs and a small indie florist for the harder and more intricate arrangements. Saved me 50%.
Whole foods has beautiful flowers, but so expensive! It's fine if you use a smaller amount and integrate candles and other decor pieces.
Definitely doable (wedding planner here!)
Shop it around for quotes from a few vendors. Best way to see what the market is like. Typically the small business florists who don’t have a huge team can do beautiful work but don’t have as much overhead so they charge less.
Once you add in arches and backdrops you’ll likely push out of the 4K price range, unless you do fake blooms and DIY.
Under $1,000. Using Costco and wildflowers in season but mostly candles. Small wedding also.
Rising Star
I’m spending about 4500 on pretty standard florals. No arches and low centerpieces. But all real so I feel like for fake it could be doable?
@A1 who is your florist? I’m outside nyc too
4,000 seems feasible. You might want to go around every seller to source out the cheapest materials if you want to stay in that lane and DIY your own wedding arch. Good luck with the wedding!
I highly recommend Ling’s flower
