Hi everyone! So I'm kinda questioning my gender views of myself and I need help and education on what I'm feeling. In essence, I can't discern whether I'm a cisgender, straight female that isn't always super feminine, or if I'm really closer to non-binary, or have fluid gender expression (is that correct?) Will add examples/reasoning why I'm questioning this below. In essence I can't tell if this is a personality trait or gender question
Diversity won't get much better until agencies diversify the HR/recruiting dept. They're typically the *least* diverse department in the whole building.
Has anyone seen firms hold successful, well-received diversity/cultural events? Especially firms with low diversity numbers but an interest in increasing awareness and education without patronizing.

My full time job (not SMU) is literally making me sick-spent time at the ER. One associate quit and another is out of full paid parental leave (must be nice, I’m not paid for doing double the work)…so I’m now expected to do the work of 3 associates. I’m an Audit Associate and looking to get into consulting/advisory. I tried to complete a rotation at my firm but it’s not common in my office. I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
