For what it’s worth, it took me til day 10-12 of a 30 day program to get big value from 10-min meditations.
That said, besides that, I have gotten relief from exercise (runs or orange theory kind of activities but to each their own), reading non business books, and taking the dog for a slow walk (if you don’t have a pet, do rover or volunteer at a shelter, which usually has fairly flexible schedules). Other ideas: low investment painting, gardening, or other crafts (as in, don’t spend $50 on supplies, just do something small and cute. Keep it or gift it.)
Adding - I worked with a coach about “self care without the pressure.” I tend to lay the pressure on of month long habit wheels that die in a week, big morning and nighttime routines that become inconsistent, feeling guilty for not doing enough or prioritizing my own heath enough among all the others in my circle. Their advice: “ask yourself ‘what do I need right now?’ And check in in the moment. Don’t plan all the things you will today/this week. Just answer this moment’s question and go from there.”
Sounds like this low pressure approach may help you too.

Highly recommend reading the “let them theory” by Mel robbins.
It’s really changed my mindset and shifted my stress levels
I try and go out 2 evenings every week (cinema, theatre, concerts) so I completely forget about work for a few hours and I don't feel obligated to stay working late every evening. That's my release valve (I don't have children so my booked events make me leave work on time). Similar to you, I don't get a lot out of trying to meditate!
Acupuncture
I got the therabody smartgoggles and theyve helped me. I used it for 5mins today and i felt so relaxed i could nap afterwards.
If given the option now id probably go with the newer version since my original version seems to push into my eyes just a little more than id like them to. But id still recommend.
I reached a point where I felt the need for a mental reset and to reprogram my mind. So, I started exploring hypnosis alongside regular physical workouts. It’s been about 11 months since I began this journey, and the results have been remarkably positive.
I hope you consider exploring it as an option. The results are permanent if you are receptive to hypnosis.
Amen! I am wired in a similar way. Love pilates, hate yoga. Love cycling hate running. Love espresso hate black tea. I learned to accept that it is ok not to feel obligated to like or participate in activities that I don’t value or feel comfortable doing. Then I made a effort to make time in my schedule to engage in things I do like and bring me joy — even in small doses. I also had to take inventory on what worked and what needed to go like minimalism for the soul.
