My stress management tips all boil down to sticking to a healthy routine. Exercising regularly, eating a balanced diet, getting 8 hours of sleep per night. In short, all the things that working in retail this time of year make basically impossible to stick to 😂. I've been failing at all of them since Black Friday. I'm going to be lazy and worthless for a few more days to celebrate busy season ending, and then it's time to get back to the gym.

I practice kindness. That way I am helping others, rather than focusing on my stress. I have found customers being very kind & joyful. I believe the entire world is tired & we all need kindness & patience.
I have learned kindness is a decision. By always acting kind, the feeling follows the action. It is a decision & then becomes a habit. Congratulations, you are on the right journey.
Merry Christmas to everyone in here. I am really looking forward to flying back to Kansas today and spending time with friends and family. Try to do some self-care, whatever that looks like for you. That is how I handle stress :).
Get to the gym and put the work in. Many people are struggling to find jobs, while others are overwhelmed by having too much work. Perspective matters—and that’s a problem most would welcome.
Make sure you're eating and sleeping well. It really makes a big difference.

It really does. I worked in Texas for awhile, where they don't have ANY break laws. But this time of year, I make sure EVERYONE gets breaks, including myself.
