Hey, new to investing looking at initial mistakes I made. I have $1k in VOO, $7k in VT and $4k in VTI in my brokerage acct; in my Roth IRA I have $6k in VT and $7.7k in VTI. I know isn’t an ideal portfolio because many of these funds overlap. However I’m in for the long term and am willing to reposition to a strategy that will do the best over my life. I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.
