May I know what is the notice period if one resigns in infy during the first 6 months of joining? I am a lateral resource and they hired me in June, but they have no projects related to my tech and want me to take weird roles.. seems they are hiring to increase employee count and cross training most. just looking for options..

I would get here then decide. Will depend on your lifestyle and neighborhood which all may change after you get here. I also wouldn’t throw away your coats, jackets, and sweatshirts. It gets cool her at night and your body will quickly forget quickly how you used to brave the frigid temps.
Really depends on which neighborhood you’ll be in. We have “microclimates” where it’s different almost across the street.
Agreed re: waiting until you are in LA to buy new stuff tbh. I moved from Boston to SF and it was much easier to get new things once my day to day was settled. Then I knew what I needed and would actually use.
Wait. LA has lots of great boutiques.
Also I wouldn’t characterize LA as “balmy”. It’s more like “pleasant” with cool nights and hot dry summer afternoons unless you live on the beach. So think lightweight layers.
Also LA could be more casual than you’re expecting, or more fashionable - depends on where you are. It’s dozens of mini cultures packed into one area.
Thanks, everyone! Just got excited about shopping 🥲
