Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

I got a call from the Google recruiter about my L7 em interview Google She said I did overwhelmingly good on all interviews except one had mixed feedback on a system design. No surprise because it was not a good interview. The recruiter said i had a choice to go to hiring committee, give referrals they could call about my system design or take another system design interview. I’m not confident about the system design because of the bad experience I had with the previous interviewer. What should I do?

People should transition away from this train wreck irrespective of whether the shared conversation is true or not. Elon is an egotistical maniac and toxic.
If I were one of the people who they laid off and then invited back, I would only do it if I got to keep the severance package and they doubled my salary. Then I would make all this money while riding out the recession and not care what any of the nitwits running the company think of me.
I agree, but I’d understand if they came back without many expectations out of fear of financial instability
How do you expect the same level of motivation from people you laid off for whatever reason and called back? It’s only expected that you would not get a 100. There’s the fear of not knowing what to expect! People need to be realistic and human. This people are human beings not robots!
