Hi all
Few months back, I accepted @pwc india's offer but didn't join.
Now I was referred for @pwc US but as I was applying for the job, the portal shows previous application with status as offer accepted.
Will pwc consider me again?
Does anyone have any idea on this?
Has someone accepted the offer but didn't join and later joined again after some months?
Please let me know
Any inputs will be helpful
Thanks!

There is a growing number of PwCers here in Nashville. It really is a great city with a lot going on all the time. It's not a Denver vibe, it's more of an emerging Atlanta vibe = very balanced growth. Lots of sports (Football Hockey, AA Baseball, MLS Soccer). The museums are 2nd to none. Lots of F500 head quarters (Nissan, Bridgestone, Dollar General, Amazon). Oracle plunked down a few $B to build a research complex. There are miles and miles of parks. There are 2 great tiers for restaurants;. High end fu fu eclectic places and lots of great tourist places (e.g. HaddieBs). There are endless non-Broadway bars and areas like German Town, West End. There are weekly festivals. There are a few great universities and colleges with bar areas. AND there is all the tourist stuff.
Things to know and consider (many have mentioned these)
Traffic is only going to get worse and the city govt leans way left, most other politics are to the right. The vote for better infrastructure keeps failing
Living anywhere near downtown is expensive and doesn't have a Chicago type vibe so it's not overly worth it. There are many burbs near down town that are a bit less but with a lot more community
The weather is great
There people are great
The airport is great given the tourist volume
Good luck
East Nashvillian here. Real talk, Nashville has something for everyone. There is almost no blanket way to answer “this is the best….” Obviously you can go by magazines like The Scene that lists out restaurants like Lou and Folk as the best and you’ll almost never hear mention of some of the above. What types of bars/ restaurants/ activities do you currently enjoy? We can give you a much better understanding of what Nashville has to offer.
Not enough East Nashville love in here. Agree with the main comments above about needing to know what your vibe is.
Red Headed Stranger for tasty and not too pricey food along with Dino's for drinks plus late night eats
Not to be a Debbie downer, but this city has no more pulse. Everything is crowded, overpriced, and commercialized to death. Over the last ten years, business interests and our local government have done everything they could to make this city a major tourist destination, and as a result it’s become a miserable place to live. Maybe if you’re in your mid-twenties with no kids and a lot of disposable income, it could be okay for a few years.
Lol…definitely a Debbie downer. Just avoid Broadway and the gulch. The other surrounding neighborhood each have their own unique culture with a lot of hidden gems
Nashville is the greatest city to live. Avoid most of broadway. Best apartments are 805 Lea, The Alcove (opens spring 2023), Camden Music Row, Aspire, Harlowe, 505, Vertis Green Hills. Gulch area is probably where you want to be. Best bars are Fable, Mother’s Ruin, LA Jackson, Kid Rock’s, Almost Friday’s, I could go on for days. For restaurants: Kayne Prime, Husk, Bourbon Steak, Etch, Bakersfield, Superica, and 5th & Broadway is a must frequent.
Co-sign all of these and whatever you do avoid The Cleo in East Nashville.
Where are you going to live - city or suburb?
Lots of good responses here. I would add that for a lot of people in consulting it would be good to keep in mind proximity to the airport. I moved here 10 years ago from NYC. All the neighborhoods listed here are good options. If you need to be on a plane multiple times per month I'd stick to a neighborhood with reasonably quick access to the 440 highway loop.
Good point. I live out west and it's 30 minutes most of the time unless during rush hours, then it's an hour one way.
Antioch for ethnic food. East for nightlife/food. Young professionals love east/west/Germantown. And…the gulch….but….the gulch is….well….what’s it’s always been 🚮
Welcome! Def depends where you’re moving to and what your lifestyle is like. Single in your 20s or 30s? Married or dating? Kids? Minority? LGBTQ? Regardless, there’s tons of good restaurants but like to get a pulse on the city really depends.
I’m a realtor and happy to answer any questions you have or share info about the city or multiple cities around Nashville. We have something for everyone, including good food, great music, and plenty of traffic.
Too many damn transplants
Broadway near 2nd Ave gives you a feel of the downtown night life
