My base salary as a Deloitte SAP consulting manager going into their third year as Manager is $155,600. I think this is low? Anyone?

How do you deal with an offer that is 20grand less than what you are making? I don’t want to seam money hungry but I also can’t imagine making less that what I already make. Feeling conflicted 😐

Learned on the day of the deadline to enroll, that my partner's employer offers voluntary participation on a deferred compensation plan. First time I hear of such a benefit/option after working for years! Any general (i.e. not plan-specific) lessons-learned, gotchas, pointers to offer as we will have to quickly decide to enroll or not?

Advise on handling rates negotiations with BIPOC and non-male creators? I always want to accept first bid and get uncomfortable when my bosses push to undercut rates (especially now when money is tight), because there is a whole history of BIPOC and non-male people getting paid less. I’ve tried to push back but struggle to articulate this to them. (For the record, I’m POC female and my bosses are white males, and race/gender convos are already very difficult with them.)
