My team has had five different managers in two years, and every single one came in with a new vision. New rules, new buzzwords, new priorities... none of which lasted long enough to actually fix anything. I’m exhausted from constantly recalibrating, rebuilding trust, and pretending this level of churn is normal. Just when I adjust, the ground shifts again. Is this just how modern workplaces operate now, or is this a massive red flag I should stop ignoring?

It shouldn't be typical but it is now. I had 3 managers in 4 months at one job and 3 maangers in 5 months in another. Toxic companies cant keep even bad managers. Bad managers count on having some people they can fool and most people being decent but when it gets that bad, they're seeking calmer waters lol

I have been at a job like that. There was so much turnover it was insane. That is not normal, that sounds like a very toxic environment to be in.

For those that invested in real estate rentals, how did you systematically approach finding a good property? Realized most of my stock investments was just gambling and I don’t want to gamble on a RE investment. Read a few books but none of them go into how to actually find a good deal/city.

EY Interview - Business Consulting - Technology Risk - Senior

Hello All,
I applied and ended up getting an interview for a Business Consulting Technology Risk Senior interview at EY. I have a call with the recruiter tomorrow to discuss opportunities within the service line. Can you please help if anyone has been through this process? What should I expect in the call tomorrow as well as the process? Is it going to be difficult for me to get the job? I really want it!

Thank you.

Hi Friends,

I have 2.5 yars experience as Data Analyst , looking for job change to Hyderabad location please help me with a referral

I recently started with Firm A (AM Top 200), and Firm B (AM Top 50) reached out for an interview. Given the potential pay with Firm B is significant (I’d say life-changing), I scheduled the interview. Should I disclose Firm A during the interview or wait and only disclose if Firm B makes an offer? Between now and the interview, I will not have completed any significant work for Firm A.

Inspired by one of my kids' favorite books, I penned this masterpiece of an Ode to Consulting:

One senior partner all alone
Calls two managing directors on the phone
Three associate partners at the door
Bring along another four
Five senior managers come overdressed
Six managers show up with a guest
Seven senior consultants arrive in a sack
Eight associates sneak in the back
Nine analysts come to work
ALL THE CONSULTANTS GO BERSERK!!!

Ok, I'll show myself out now... 😂
