So I finished my 3rd interview with a company and the TA specialist said they loved me but can’t meet me at my bottom line salary, however, I said I can negotiate and she said she’s going to speak with the decision makers and see if they’re okay with that. What does this mean? This is for a marketing specialist role. I’m asking for $70K bottom line

Those of you that interviewed at aws sales, did your interviewers go through specific bullet points on your resume?
I understand its lp focused, im just curious if ppl used examples outside of their resume for majority of their stories.

I have relieving letter but no experience letter from one of my previous employer where I worked for 3 months

Fir the new company,third party BGV is not considering relieving letter and pay slips from this employer. They are asking for experience letter only and without that BGV would be not be able to proceed.
I have already requested my previous employer to share the experience letter but they have not reverted yet.
Please suggest if joining new organisation where bgv is going on.

I'm reading this book on boundaries. In the work section it says I should tell my boss that I can't work after 5 PM. Knowing that advertising work commonly goes past 5 PM...would my job be in danger if I said that?
There's not really a rule book that says I must work until the work is done even though it's an unsaid expectation. Thoughts?

Folks who managed to switch jobs in this economy, how did you get the job? Did a recruiter reach out to you ? Or did you go on sending out applications?

Working with a non profit in my magic time and our volunteers work in Google Sheets - trying to help them make a spreadsheet more user friendly and freeze some columns, but it keeps shortening the width of the most important column in the frozen section so you can’t see it all, which defeats the purpose. Anybody have a troubleshooting tip?

For Startup up exit opportunities- how do you get comfortable with that risk level man?

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.
