Need Advice: Put on PIP

Yesterday, I received an email from my manager informing me that I’ve been put on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) and that they will observe me for the next sprint. I’m trying to understand what this usually means—does it lead to termination, or will they ask me to resign? Will I get to serve a notice period if things don’t work out?

I'm accepting an offer with a new company... Start in early Aug. Senior Manager role, though in this company that equates to Manager at most consulting farms. They did not had hunt me. I came to them for the job.

I have COVID delayed vacations planned for the last week in August and the first week in October.

Should I just cancel one of them? Or should I at least put both on the table and see what they say? They're going to hire me either way, but I wonder if it's a bad start to ask for both.

Ive been learning to be a data scientist (Ineuron Full Stack Data Science)

Considering having a hands an experience on 4-5 Projects with Internship Certificates, Is it possible to get an opportunity directly into a Data Scientist Role(NLP/ML)?

As I'm moving to a new role in a small company, I have a doubt about my salary structure like the Basic salary part is only 20,000 while my take home is 62k after all deductions.

I'm concerned because the leave encashment & other things totally depends on the basic salary.

Are there not any rules for the Basic salary to be at a certain % of CTC or it depends totally on the company?

Also PF deductions they are offering only 1800 p.m but considering 20000 basic it should be 12% of 20000 right?
