if you work 40 hours (10 hours day) monday through thursday. are you be required to input 8 hours of vacation time on friday? i’m noticing some firms require you to still enter hours.

I’m such an idiot. I made my daughter’s first birthday party 1 to 3 pm, and after sending out the invites, I notice that her naptime has slowly migrated to 1pm. Is there anything I can do to avoid changing the party time?

I accepted my Amazon offer on 5/23 via email as told by the recruiter who also took down my social via telephone and send me a old school pdf to fill out for a my background screening. At the time we decided on 6/13 as the start date. On 6/3 I received an email from Amazon’s version of docusign to sign my offer, and yesterday 6/8 I was notified by the recruiter that my start date would be delayed to 6/20 due to background not being completed.
