What are some smaller production companies making great work these days? Not so much the big multi-director lead commercial prodco’s but the creative upstarts? Who ya a fan of?

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

Hey All, just wondering what’s happening with McKinsey’s Quantum Black and BCG’s many product ventures (BCG Omnia, BCG Digital Ventures etc)? Are they working on creating a products and up selling to their current clients? Curious if working their tech teams provide a good exposure to the client or is it just going to be backend platform work with out any client exposure.

Working for a senior who is beyond horrible. She talks to you like you’re stupid and makes it sound like you’re absolutely terrible at what you’re doing. She’s made 5 other associates cry during her 5 year career. Got someone fired and made another person quit. It’s known around the office that she can no longer have a female associate, because she talks down to females more than she does males. I came along and thought I could deal with it but she literally makes me want to not log on tomorrow.

I took Amazon assessment for FA role. After I took the technical questions, it directly took my to survey page and skipped the behavioral questions. Did anyone experience that or whether they evaluate the candidates based on their performance before moving to next section?
