Has anyone heard about DHS cancelling tourist visas for people who overstayed in the US last year during peak pandemic times? I filed for my parents extension when they were here in 2020, but due to long wait times it never got approved. WE got a notification for their finger printing and next steps only after they left (11 months stay), hence the extension was never approved or denied.

I need to know what the going hourly rate would be as an independent contractor as in house counsel in finance would be. I have been working for this company for over a year, I like working for them and they seem to like me and want me to extend the contract. I have 10+ years experience in finance law. I know what Biglaw charges, but does anyone know what an independent contractor/attorney would charge? I can't seem to find out anywhere else and I do not know anyone in my situation to also ask.

Any thoughts from anyone on freezing embryos (with donor sperm) after freezing eggs? I only very recently froze eggs as I turned 35. When I started thinking about this a year ago (Single) my follicle count was very high but dropped by almost half in the past year. I was able to freeze 18 eggs. I now have a partner but it’s only been some months so I’m trying not to factor him into my previous plans. I had planned to do another cycle for embryos but using donor sperm. Thoughts on the risks?
